With reference to my despatch No. 466 of the 24th instant,

and to your Despatch No.285 of the 3rd September last, I have the honour to transmit me the signifiration et His

Hajesty's pleasure the jollowing Ordinance entitled —

An Ordinance to repeal the Land Registry Office (Fees) Amend- ment Ordinance 1902; and to amend Ordinance No.3 of 1844 entitled "An Ordinance to provide for the Registration of Deeds Hills Judg- ments and Conveyances affecting real or immovable property in Hong- Kong." (No.36 of 1902).

The customary Report by the Attorney General is annered.

You will observe that the fees have been trebled with the

exception of No.3 which is retained at the original figure and Nos

13 and 14 which have been doubled, not trebled.
